Which to choose – Office 365 or Google Apps?

TMPros will help your office upgrade or move your existing email and office funtions to either OFFICE 365 or Google Apps depending on your current environment. We will give you the pros and cons of each office suite and help you identify what is best for your situation. Below, we will give you the highlights of each:

OFFICE 365

Office 365 offers three plans starting at $5.00 per user per month. The basic plan comes with 1TB of cloud file storage, a 50 GB mailbox and Office Online. Basically, it’s email and storage. The second plan @ $8.25 per user comes without email but a Professional MS Office suite. For $12.50 per month, you get the Office Suite and the email.

If you’re already using Outlook, sticking with it is probably the best solution. The new sales model of paying by the month has the advantage of always having the latest version of Office and Outlook. If you’re a company still using Outlook 2010 and Office 2007. This model will be more expensive. But, it allows companies to have what they need without the big capital outlay. We are a Microsoft Reseller. Our prices are the same as what they sell on their website, but if you buy from us, we will be there for you before and after the sale. We also install and set it up for our clients. Google Apps

Google Apps is ideal for the those of you not entrenched in the Office and Outlook world. Google offers $5 and $10 a month plans. The $5 per user plan includes your company email address you@yourcompany.com which for small businesses makes you look more professional. It’s web based but also integrates with Outlook. You get 30GB of online storage in Google Drive, and Google’s suite of online office programs that work like Word, Excel, and Power Point. It also includes a project sites feature and 24/7 phone and email support.

The $10 a month package has all of the above but gives you 1TB per user or unlimited storage above 5 users. It also includes some advanced features for the admin and drive, Google Vault, Archive, message retention and more. For me, the 30 GB is probably enough if I don’t store video. But if you’re planning on doing that, the $10 package is the way to go.
